I think I saw Gary Vogt and Robie Pruden in THIS "Early Skiers" footage posted by Bela and Mimi Vadasz. Pretty sure Scotty was in it too... the guy that was climbing with a smoke in his mouth.

Yep ! that was us and I still tele that badly. the dapper guy smokin might been Scotty but i let him weigh in.

I love the guy doing crazy 300 (or so) degree jump turn somewhere around the 3.5 minute mark and I wonder if it's a beer they're passing around at 6.18 min?

Can you imagine how much work it must be to flail those HUGE skis around on the uptrack?
