Just want to let everyone know that John Stimberis has volunteered to offer 3 more Proper Beacon, Probe and Shovel Usage classes in February. Please feel free to sign up for them. We successfully over sold all 5 prior classes.
Additionally, the foundation has sponsored 2 patrollers (one at Alpental and one at Stevens) to complete their AVY 3 courses in CA. Through them (and others within our foundation) we plan on offering more high level training and refresher courses either this year or next, including a AVY 1 class. Please watch our website for more info and classes to come on line.
