Bachelor has done fairly well this warm winter, benifts of that extra 1000 feet of elevation. Last week they even had a bluebird powder day. They are still short of 100 inches on the ground but the trees are getting enough snow to ski on. They have a new no uphill traffic policy while the lifts are turning. Since I am a lift junkie it has little effect on me, unless it is the beginning of a year round no uphill policy. So far this is not the case. The pack is looking like it will make it into the early summer but we will see what the rest of the season brings. Hoodoo and willamette both lost snow last week to rain so what winter gives it can also take back.
