Dukes: I've broken both 3 of 4 pieces that hold the toe height plate down. I've got parts on order, and I guess after 40 days I should expect to be replacing things... I've previously bent the ascender bar, but that was an easy replacement.
Yeah, everyone seems to have issues here. Did you have to pay? For future reference, REI was able to warrantee this and give me a free pair of AFDs on the spot w/o having to contact Marker. The next weakest link in my mind is the pivot.
Those F12s sound intriguing. It'd be great to have an uber-stiff light(ish) weight binding that could take a lift-served beating, released reliably, and was compatible with alpine boots. And if that's not asking too much, could I get it for cheap, too?

1. Lighter than Fristchi Freerides by almost 300g
2. Good quality release characteristics in downhill mode
3. Simple operation
Things not to like:
1. Ski Crampons only to 90mm width (same problem as the Dynafit crampons)
2. Ski Crampons are mounted mid-foot making then next to useless while using the “Climbing Aid”
3. Have to take the ski off to change from climbing to skiing mode. Not required for Fritchis or Dynafits…

ProSki got me fixed up free of charge in about a week (they had to order parts from Marker).
The Fritschi's look cool. 90mm for the brakes/crampons is starting to be a little ridiculous though. Do you know the DIN range on the Fritschi?
