Sentry Mtn. Lodge burns down :(

Had a tentative trip planned here. Guess it's a no-go now!! Fortunately, no one was hurt and they are planning on rebuilding. The building left standing is the sauna...

Where is Senrty mtn. ?????

I did a 2 second web search and it is in Golden BC. What amazing terrain around that cabin. Sorry that your trip was canceled Toby. Glad none hot hurt.

More specifically, Sentry Mt is in the Esplande Range of the Selkirks, just north of the 3 Golden Alpine Huts. It was independently owned, but was sold a couple of years ago to the GAH crew.
