Wow! I don't know what the fine print on the purchase of season passess says, but I smell a lawsuit coming and she'll probably wind up with free skiing for life.

If you read the article it's clear that DMR did give her money back. Frankly, I think businesses should have the right to refuse customers service if the customer is creating problems for your business. However, there's a difference between having the right and being smart. In this case, you have to assume there's probably a number of other season pass holders that are also irritated by their mid-week policy. I don't think the ski area will be viewed with much sympathy and they will probably lose some business for many years due to their actions.

Durango certainly shouldn't get credit as the first resort to favor day ticket tourists over pass holding locals.

1. The 1st Amendment is for protection when speaking about your government not ski areas in Colorado

2. The area only amended their early and late season schedule and stated if there was enough snow they would be open more days in those time periods

3. She got her money back. Just because you bought a pass at any resort doesn't mean they are going to do everything a customer thinks a ski area should do,

4. I have a pair of skis with at bindings I could make her a deal on
