Thoughts on approach skis?

No offense intended ale, I am just jealous of your turns at Stevens last month.

One person had approach ski experience and the rest were just offended splitboarders promoting their method and dissing approach skis

Have splitboarders become the new telemark skiers????

I'm commenting from a skiers perspective.

I'd say all 3 modes (split board, approach skis and snowshoes) have there merits, and if I were a snowboarder, I'd most likely have all 3 in my quiver.

But alas, I only have to watch the boarders flounder in the BC....I kid.
