Volkl skis was created by OldHouseMan
Looking for a retailer that actually stocks Volkl skis, called a few places from Seattle to Portland with no luck. I'm looking at the
Nanuq
as a replacement for my Teledaddys and would like to fondle them before plunking down my cash, there pretty spendy.
As for on-line sources, I've found them at Telemark Pyrenees for the cheapest and Bent Gate for a little more.

Evogear and Bothell Ski and Bike have new Volkls in stock, but not the Nanuq.
Watch out, I recently bought skis online from Europe and got nicked for both US Duty (protecting that thriving onshore ski manufacturing segment) and 3% "foreign transaction fee" by Bank of America (up from 1%). UPS has a tendency to charge you for duty (but it's sporadic), so if you can ship FedEx or USPS you have a better chance of avoiding the duty charge.

Thanks for the heads up on ordering from Europe, the price form Telemark Pyrenees isn't that much better to justify ordering from them anyway.
This week I'm going into the Mt Shop (Portland) to see what they can do for me. REI carries Volkl, I could special order and get something back on the dividend next year.

Probably too far (great white) north for you but MEC in CA seems to carry them.
You are not kidding about spendy.

Check out Evo or Sturtevants for the Alpine Volkl line up.
Marmot Mountain works used to carry Volkl's BC/Tele line up.
If I may ask... why would you get the Nanuk (a softened version of 1st generation Mantra) when you could ride the new and improved Gotama with a progressive flex and rocker patern.
I'd go with the Got's all the way!
PS...the Nanuk was available last year as the M Rock...might be able to score a deal if you're willing to deal with last years graphics.

Two completely different skis.
The new Got has a longer turn radius and is stiffer as well.
I doubt you will find these in the Seattle market, there are several retailers around the country that appear to have them in stock.
