I saw a show on the Science Channel a couple of years ago called "Owning the Weather". It was about the of history of weather manipulation, such as steering hurricanes, and the progression of technology. The show also revealed an element of climate-change control through technological means... Weird stuff...

actually, the tahoe area had been silver iodide seeding for years. they just suspended the program for this year. the el nino norm of more snow in the sierras might mitigate the impact of no seeding this year... it's always an amoeba. poke somewhere, and you don't know where it will bulge in response...

Anybody know a way to get a hold of these documentaries on weather manipulation? I looked on the internet at the obvious sources and have come up empty handed.

Manowar as in the cheesy metal band from the states that is REALLY popular in Europe. They got some good stuff from the early 80's. Check out Hail to England!
