Researching for upcoming trips is one of my favourite things and part of the whole enjoyment.

Wow, thanks for scouring the web far better than I did. All those links will be a big help. Sorry, February is too early for us. I think the earliest we could make it there is April.

Mt brother lives in Japan and has done some good tours there (he told me about a back country hut they stay in that has its own hot spring) but not Fuji (yet). I'll PM you his email, he may have good info/contacts.
