I'm really wanting Mrs P!N to go this direction this year. Lightly used DP's and nearly new Targa Ascents....great deal on both.
Dilemma is: Previous owner say's that due to the top-sheet profile (ridge/hump) that the actuating tour mode arm of the ascent "drags" and can become a 2-person job for switchover.
How can this be avoided?
Is there outer shim/washer opportunity to raise the binding 1-3mm or so...as not to flex the outer parts down in turn engaging the center.
...or is this system just so "Jacked" that I should abandon this Union Shocked Embarassed
Mrs. P!N can use all the advantages she can during switchover.

G3 produces 2 shims for their Targa bindings; they also make a wedge to prevent rocker launch that might work. Check their website under "Telemark Accessories" and email them through their website or try asking one of the online stores like thebackcountry.com (exact URL?). You may have to raise the heel to match.
It took quite a while to get parts through customs from G3 a few years ago.
It might also work to grind down the ridge under the mode-switch lever. Some of my pals have done major cutting and notching of their ski talis, but get info first on whether that would affect the ski.
