Relive those 2009 Slush Cup memories!
There's a story, photo gallery and audio slideshow about the 2009 Slush Cup published in the Aug. 30 Yakima Herald-Republic. Go to www.yakimaherald.com to see it all. Go to the "local news" section of the site and look for the "Slush Cup" headline. Click there to see it all. Or, if you'd like to go directly to the audio slideshow, that link is posted in the upper right-hand side of the main page (look for the photo of Chris Cass showing us how to do it). Or, just type "Slush Cup" in the search box.
Many thanks for everyone's help in the story and photos. I look forward to meeting any (or all) of you in the mountains again.

Gordon- A very nice piece. Professionally presented, exciting, informative.
It is easy to see why you are the Photo Editor of the Yakima Herald.
It is always a breath of fresh air to see positive news of people enjoying life as opposed to all the negativity that is so prevalent in the news.
Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Nice job on the article and slide show, Gordon!  Glad to have the shot of me hitting the pond in the wizard robe and chicken mask.  In the immortal words from "Singing in the Rain," the key is "Dignity. Always Dignity."

Story was picked up in today's Seattle Times. seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews...4321_slushcup06.html . As GregL puts it, much less entertaining without the pictures.
