Wow. The new series of home page HDR photos are fantastic. I would not have guessed that tones could be so vivid ~ and your compositions are superb. I would buy that stack of postcards you've presented here over the last week or so
Thanks also for maintaining this fine community resource. david

The two I've been able to see the past couple weeks are fabulous. Any way to scroll through all of them; I don't normally see the "front page" when I log on.

ditto man, solid work. yeah, I tried to get one of them as my wallpaper and it didn't work. You have a link to those or do you sell them?

Edited to say: Maybee it is the skier in me, but:
I would much rather see "low Def" pictures of skiing than any other HD photots. Word!

Sorry for the delay in responding, life has been busy and I haven't been thoroughly checking the forum.
Thanks regarding the HDR photos. I haven't had time to gather them in a gallery, and at this time no plans for selling rights - just doing for fun and experience, and posting so others can see the potential in HDR.
The HDR process is truly amazing - a revolution in photography in my mind. There are three main problems that I see, now having done a lot of these photos:
1. Best outcome is using a tripod, and that's not always convenient; hand-held works, but alignment of the individual shots is not going to be perfect;
2. It takes a lot of time to process to the final output;
3. The dynamic range of HDR photos is so much greater than single shots that I have forever ruined my ability to appreciate single shots; I have tried multiple times to take the best single shot from an HDR set and process it to the best of my ability, and can't come close at all to the HDR output. Single shot images now look flat and dull.
"I would much rather see "low Def" pictures of skiing than any other HD photots."
HDR is not "high def", it's "high dynamic range", which is completely different. At this time I'm into exploring the possibilities of HDR, and am not generating many skiing photos. If you want skiing photos that are very timely, just browse the forum!
