The Times has a story about the possibility of breaking a record for the longest May-June dry spell in Seattle today:

Cliff Mass also has a post about it on his weather blog:

There was no rain at my house this morning. It's not clear to me whether we've already broken the record or not.

It would be great to see some showers to knock down some of the Pollen below treeline, off the snow, and down here in "grass Valley".

...8 years here and this is my first bit of allergies...feels and looks like "pink eye"

I must be out of the sun belt. Rain the last two weekends.
In Greenwater we have had numerous thunder showers.
I was going to wash my car last week and it rained about an inch of precip in an hour. I would have soaped it down and let the rain do it's deed, but the lightning was overhead.
In fact I don't know if it's true, but Crystal's telemetry showed .73" on water followed by a .16 the next hour. Let Scotsman tell you how soaked he got.
Getting tired of thundershowers and rain here....

Yes I think I must have a cloud following me. I think all .73" fell on me last Saturday when I was skiing solo up in silver basin with Chugach. Got absolutely soaked and Chugach got quilled by a porcupine. He had quills all over his head and inside his mouth and I had to pull each one out in the pouring rain!

We got our first rain showers since May 26 today. It wasn't a record for the Vancouver, B.C. region; that was 24 days in 1940.
