Has anyone been strafed with ice blasting out from their stupid treads? I think there needs to be some voice to control those idiots.
I feel you Don. Every time I head up to Shrieber's Meadow, I always get blasted...and usually with gravel. I've even yelled and waved my poles and they just wave like I'm being friendly or something. >

How do you "educate" a guy who's screaming past you at 50 mph on a 35 degree slope with no visible license plate? How are you supposed to pretend to coexist with somebody whose front skis are off the ground, and he's steering with body tork and his sled tips and jerks so close to you at 50 mph that you could touch him? Has anyone been strafed with ice blasting out from their stupid treads? I think there needs to be some voice to control those idiots.
We can find plenty of examples where the best you can do is get pissed off and gawk at their lack of consideration, I'll grant you that. But the only way to moderate these conflicts, to reduce them, is to reach some kind of common ground and understanding of how we both use the mountains for what we enjoy.
You may never reach your 50 mph guy, but that's no reason not to try with the rest.
