Donating stuff

Does anyone have experience with, or are aware of, service organizations ~ Boys Club/Girls Club, etc. ~ that would like to receive pre-owned snowsports gear? I imagine that many would just as soon donate stuff as attempt to sell or stash for who knows when. Thanks. D.

I can't speak for anything local, but I just donated a bunch of miscellaneous stuff, including some ski gear, to an animal shelter in Republic. They have an Ebay store where they sell all sorts of things to help fund the organization. I'll bet there are a number of organizations that are doing that these days -- give them an email/call.

The REI headquarters takes ski gear for a sale benefitting "Sports for All" (or something like that) for outdoor programs for disabled folks- you can drop it off at the rental desk in the basement.
