I recently came across a flyer at work for
www.outdoorsforall.org/
. After speaking with them today regarding volunteering, I thought I'd make any of you who may not be aware of them aware......
Essentially they help disabled kids get out into the outdoors and experience sports, among them skiing/boarding that the kids otherwise might not. Great, right? It's a 1:1 ratio volunteer to child, so the more volunteers the better. I'm gonna be participating in the winter program but buying a Crystal pass due to schedue constraints, but FYI if you do a certain consecutive number of days volunteering in the winter program you can get a $375 Crystal pass or $50 Summit pass. Not to bad for doing some good.
