Just looking to get a little exercise w/my wife tomorrow and avoid the rain at Snoq. Pass. Looks like Stevens was fogged in today, but Blewett at least had some visibility. DB's 4/6 report from Blewett was somewhat promising. Not expecting pow, just hoping for acceptable skiing and minimal rain. I submit to the collective knowledge of the board.

Blewett will almost certainly have better weather since it is east of the crest and winds will be from the west tomorrow.  Dunno about snow conditions.

Err, meant to say "Blewett will probably have better weather"

"almost certainly" in my prior post implies some probability >95%, which it might be but I don't want to make that claim in a public forum.

24 Hour fitness would probably save a lot on gas if that's all you want ;-)

Hex Mountain was dry today with only about 3-4'' spring crud.  Haven't been to Blewett since 4/2--Wenatchee Ridge was frozen crust on the road with N. facing glade runs off of it being a combo of wind-blown to sun/wind crust..very inconsistent turning though it was also in the evening and not as high an elevation as the nice looking turns someone posted in Blewett this week.  Snoq Pass  the last three days has even been nice even in the rain as gladed runs off of Mt Catherine and the Hyak/Silver Fir vacinity are compacting nicely and feeling like nice soft spring snow...great stick for climbing on waxless skiis and fine turning.

On crummy weather days when I just say fuck it and go out on the snow anyway something good usually happens. Hope you have a good go at it!

Mostly sunny with fun corn-like layer on top of supportive crust on top rotten sugar. Skied S. side of Diamond Head. Fun day, but short runs.

No matter what the weather, I have never had a day that "sucked" in the mountains?
