I have a pair of the Atomic Big Daddy's that have the same thin center channel. I've found the fritschi's mount perfect inside the channel with one problem. The heel piece is a triangle hole pattern which leaves one screw in the thin, foam core, center. The solution was t-nuts and machine screws. You can find both at a local hardware store with no problem and will be less than $.50. I have limited tools so the counter sinking took some time, but they have been solid since (2 years). With one patch on each ski the size of a nickel, hang-ups or catching have been non existent or noticable. JB Weld works well to do any filling since it bonds directly to the t-bolt and can be ground flat. Good luck!

Just an update, to those interested -- I finally got around to mailing the skis to Voile, since they offered to t-nut them for me. Turns out they were in the middle of their 09-10 run and decided to just send me a brand new pair, hot of the presses, with factory inserts. Damn fine customer service, especially since I didn't pay a dime for them in the first place.
I'll still be putting t-nuts into my Kailas, since I managed to rip out THOSE mounts too. Maybe I'm getting fat.
