I've skied with many of you before but rarely on lifts.  Come join us at Crystal Mountain March 29th for a good cause and ski till you drop, either going for the most vertical (lift served) or until you decide your done.  If skiing at Crystal is not your game just donate to the American Cancer Society by clicking HERE .  Please donate to our team "Give Cancer the Boot II" or anyone else you like better, of course prizes are involved.

There are two ways to ski, start your own team or join one already formed, Give Cancer the Boot II is full but several others have room.  Here are the details..... (Note the ticket deal if you don't have a pass.)

You could also follow the link from the Crystal Mountain web events list, but Cystal's not making it easy to find.

Thanks Matt

Matt-
Just to clarify, this is on March 29th as the post says Join us 3/28? ???

Looks like Give Cancer the Boot 2 has some ringers on it, like a US ski team Downhill skier, a National Telemark Champ..Who else you got on that roster?? Vertical George? FrontSide Carl?

It would be fun duct tape a team together to challenge the likes of that crew.
All in good fun for a great cause!

And it not to late to sign up.

I'm in... joined the team with the intimidating name of: Crystal Care Bears.
Should be fun, gives us a good excuse to ski together!
Feel free to AX my post if it is soliciting, but please come join or contribute to our teams HERE
See ya on the slopes!

Copied from above and may need clarification-
Raise a minimum of $500 for your team and each team member will receive a lift ticket from the Crystal Mountain Founders Club for the day. If you raise under $500 there will be discount tickets available for purchase.

I'm not sure if this needs to be clarified, but appears to state that if you join a team and the team raises over $500 each member gets a lift ticket. Well team Crystal Care Bears is well over the $500, so JUST Assuming that you would get a free lift ticket for a $35 min donation to JOIN our team.
I will check into that, but it sounds like a savings of several dollars off retail for a day of skiing!?
I'll send an email to check on this!

UPDATE
From Crystal Mountain Marketing-
To clarify the reduced cost ticket thing on my previous post.
As long as the individual donates $60 (or more)  then they will get a free ticket.  :)
So that means that there is no savings, BUT your dollars go to the American Cancer Society and is tax deductible.
So skiing makes you feel great, and you can feel even better knowing that you are helping others!
It's snowing hard at my house now so it should be a great event!

Although we drove up together, but somehow got separated during 1st run, last minute team member Scotsman was able to get some great last minute financial contributions for the cause to knock us over the team goal of over $1145 raised! The event raised over $15,000 I think.
Thanks for the skiing with me yesterday Matt! It was great to see you fly, down the hill with such grace and energy! And a great excuse for us to ski together all day.
For a first time event, it was very successful and look forward to it again. Many participants and great positive vibes.
Special thanks to all the volunteers, the ACS, and Crystal Mountain who contributed their time to such a great cause! Could not ask for better snow conditions and day to have this event with face shots and fast powder tree skiing, capped the day off with a Southback and white room powder shots to the bottom!
Top vert guy was over 50,000, uhh...., not me. But possibly the most untracked vertical powder  ;)
It's the opposite method of the VertFest, but please think about this event for next year and maybe we can get a team of TAY folks out there.
