the road to paradise didn't open today, with only 16 inches of new reported at paradise; not only did it snow heavily at paradise, here's the west-side road at probably 2100 ft asl:

BTW, the West-side Road will soon be plowed; the park is plowing it now because their plans won't let them plow during bird nesting season.
