Bonnie, Jeanette and I met him today, too.  Nice guy.
About an hour earlier we als met Ranger Dan. Spent about 30 minutes visiting with him. Also a very nice guy. We told him they might want to hunt down Gary Vogt and slash his tires  ;D
Just kidding  :)
We did tell him that Gary was their man if they wanted to learn all the cool stashes around Paradise. Both are fairly new to MRNP and eager to learn all the nooks and crannies and get to know all the regulars.

Gary, and to a lesser extent, I, have shown various newby skiing rangers around the circuits, etc. Another friendly ranger is LEO John Piastek; we've skied with him a bunch, but he is transferring to Glacier NP in March or something. Another cool skiing ranger was Andy who was previously with and avalanche center in CO or somewhere ...

OMG, a ranger love fest! Whatz the world coming to?

Zap even though I have the dynafiddlers and fritschicatapaults and love them there is no such thing as a convert. Yes my name is Robie and I am a Teleholic.

Yeah, I skied tele on Friday and Monday; will probably ski more tele than AT cuz Regine and I like to lots of tours for turns and tours for scenery; I'll keep the AT for longer climbs and longer ski downs.
