March Colorado Trip Need Advice was created by ruds
Hello all,

I'm heading to Colorado in March for 2 days of skiing and I'm looking for any advice that I can pull from people. I'm pretty sure I'll be heading to Breckenridge. Any tips on lodging/lift ticket deals and most importantly places for the best turns?

Thanks,
Ruds

I was just down there. Find a buddy with a Colorado pass and you can get $55 tickets at Breck or Keystone. In my opinion Keystone is better, at least if you like tree skiing. Incredible glades and tight trees at Keystone, and more hike-to/skin-to terrain. Also it's a little less of a circus than Breck. I found a little untracked in the trees at Keystone a week after it had snowed.

Otherwise you can get like $10 off if you buy 7 days in advance online, I think. You can also get a deal if you buy tickets in advance through various grocery stores in Denver. The 76 gas station in Silverthorne had 2 for 1 deals at Copper Mountain if you buy 10 gallons of gas. If you can find someone to use it with, that's probably the best deal out there (beyond skinning up to mid mountain and poaching the lifts ::) ) Copper is very nice, too, and I also prefer it to Breck.
