Need beta on Big White area backcountry

My wife and I are heading to Big White for two days of resort and hopefully two backcountry days. Does anyone have any suggestions on BC skiing in that area.

Technically, Big White is in the southern reaches of the Monashee Mountains. With respect to terrain, this area isn't spectacular so backcountry options found elsewhere in the Columbia Mountains aren't really available. Mostly the resort is surrounded by rolling hills and cut-blocks. I will ask a few people I know in the area their opinion and report back.
