Snoqualmie Mountain was created by Planker
I'm just looking for some general reports on the terrain of Snoqualmie Mountain. I'm supposed to hike/climb it with some friends this weekend, and was thinking of taking the planks along.
I'm kind of chicken when it comes to skiing alone, so I was just curious about the terrain, avalanche exposure, and so on along the standard hiker/climber route.
I'm a very strong skier, just a chicken.
Thanks

Snoqualmie Mt down the Phantom slidepath to the Alpental parking lot is a nice ski, if that's the direction your friends are climbing it from. I'm not sure about the other side into Commonwealth, but I imagine it's nice as well. It is certainly steep enough to slide in many spots and I'd want to at least have partners who also had beacons and avy gear... skiing solo, you'd have to go pretty slowly on the way down, if you wanted to stay close enough to your friends for them to do you any good if you got in trouble.
