I would highly recommend putting some time in with map laid out and Google Earth scouting lines and approach routes.  Google earth imagery for much of BC is fairly decent.  Unfortunately if you have the GPS Cords, you can not drop them into Google Earth unless you get beyond the BETA version...

The Canadian Government apparently owns all mapping rights so the price for printed media is a bit steep...

Canadian maps and Sat photos are horrible/useless. I long for a Terraserver equivalent and never have found anything close. I thought maybe Amar had given up the Holy Grail of Canadian Maps, but stupid me, I can't see any info in any of these sites listed. Love to know the secret if it exists.

1:20,000 scale maps here - trail.brijn.nu Unfortunately no place names. TRIM data. Can generate UTM grids
