We are high and dry, merely worried about a leaning power pole that City Light came out and guyed with a rope.
I'm volunteering for flood damage assessments with WA AIA architects to help out building depts in need. If any of you architects, civil or structural engineers or contractors would like to volunteer, let me know. Short ATC training class is available Sunday AM.

Last night at the height of the storm my house flooded...
My wife Pam, being of pragmatic prairie stock gathered some clothes and all our financial and insurance papers. Stewart gathered all his video games, computers and ipod.
I was caught by my wife coming out of the house laden with skis, boots, poles and my ski bag! She was rolling here eyes in the way that wives do and I said" WHAT......!!!"
In all honesty, I still think I had my priorities right but don't tell her!
As we watched the skyrocketing graph on the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service for the Nisqually, both my wife and I packed the back of my truck with our skis, boots, poles, probes, beacons, packs, ski clothes ... and little else besides my camera and laptock and took off! Fortunately, the river decided not to come our way (but several of our neighbors suffered damaged from the rain on roof top snow event.
