Exploring the south coast range was created by Eli3
I've always wanted to check out the coast range, so two friends of mine and I picked one of the 'easier' accessed areas in the hiking and climbing british columbia guide book and went for it. Amazing terrain, I'll have to head back up there this spring for some skiing. The recent weather has finally given me some time to finish the writeup!

Eli3,
I don't know which guide book you used as a resource. John Baldwin has written "Exploring the BC Coast Range on Skis" which shows many years' worth of touring possibilities. John has also compiled an excellent map of touring possibilities around the Whistler area. Happy New Year! Rainer Burgdorfer

I looked at John Baldwin's book, as this area is the southern end of the lillooet icefield traverse (which looks amazing), but the route out to meager creek road did not look good without lowland snow cover. Primary beta was from "A Guide to Climbing & Hiking in Southwestern British Columbia" by Bruce Fairley and trip reports on bivouac.com. Info is pretty sparse, hence the exploratory nature of the trip
