I'm heading up to Nelson tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday the 30th) with some friends for a few days at Ymir Yurts. We're bringing along a friend's dog and would like to have a beacon for him, if we can scrounge one/two up.
Does anyone have one or two old frequency beacons they'd be willing to lend/sell for a few days? I've got an old F1 that hasn't seen use in a while.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a Seattle (or nearby) location where we could buy a "Snow Bug", the dedicated freq transceiver that some folks put on their snowmobiles?
