Emergency Contact Information was created by Rusty Knees
Just a thought about keeping a note in the car with everyone's emergency contact information-
Thanks to TAY, many times in the last few years, I've skied with new friends, a few strangers, and strangely friendly gnus. While I have their cell #, and they have mine, if an avalanche did occur, the cell phones might be buried with the respective owner. I wouldn't have a clue who to call. And my partners might not have any idea how to get a message to my wife.
I could see it unfolding - I'd be lost somewhere in Commonwealth basin, and my partner would be trying to find a wi-fi connection to post a trip report about how he misplaced me, hoping my wife would miraculously check the TAY site (In a million years, it wouldn't cross her mind).
A hide a key so everybody can get home if I get lost is also a prudent idea.
Rusty Knees - and don't look in the phone book for any Mr/Mrs. Knees

That's an excellent tip and so easy to implement.

Yeah, I remember the first time my (random, but bonafide TAY) partner said to me " The car keys are in my right front pocket". There's really no need for this, as I would not be driving off the hill W/O him no matter what the circumstance, but it instantly sobered me to the trust and responsibility of partnership in the BC.
