I understand the need to upgrade things at Hyak, but new lifts and a restaurant at the top? Insane!

i'm too lazy to look through the whole pdf, but did anyone see what the timeline is for Alpy installing that new lift? just curious whether this is something that'll be going up summer '09 or if its still a few years out.

Alpy BC is gonna get crowded with that new lift... i'll keep my fingers crossed that it means the resort will work to get the bc open more often.

As I read things, the proponent (Summit) withdrew the gondola, restaurant, and everything else at the summit of Denny. I'd agree that it'd be pretty crazy (and worth opposing, in my opinion), but I don't think it's happening anytime soon.
