Alpinist Closing Down

Terrible news, Alpinist the climbing magazine is closing it's doors.( I just read it on the Teton AT website).  I loved this magazine and will sadly miss it. :'(

I hope the new Ski Journal produced in Bellingham which is a new quarterly mag similar to the Alpinist in production values doesn't have the same fate. See this link to this terrific magazine:

Scotty thanks for the link to the Journal. I've got to find a copy of the new 2.3 there is a article on Hexel. I worked with Hub at Sims Snowboards when I first came to the NorthWest and he is quite a character. I spent many hours listening to his tales of building skis in the basement of the mid chalet at Mommoth Mt.
