Sad news from Rocky. Streakers take care; icy October can be more than just "the cruelest month".

(He must have thought he was taking a risk by waiting until the very last day of September to get in his turns for that month . . . but not that kind of risk.)

Reminds me of California's Kook Chute and other steep sheltered lines that can be skied all year, but become progressively more icy throughout the summer and fall.
