My son and I took advantage of our W/B Edge Card perks to access the Musical Bumps. We followed the bumps out to Russet Lake campsite. I thought that I would share my adventure since the area is popular with members of the TAY community. I have posted the pictures and info here: telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=47316

My TAY photographic quota:

1.From Flute, with only the top of Oboe showing in front of Cowboy Ridge. In the distance is Overlord, Fissile and Whirlwind.

2. One of several wild flower gardens that we passed through.

3. Our campsite at the base of Fissile near the outflow of Russet Lake.

Nice report, Bob. I really enjoyed the "point-counterpoint" of the summer/winter pictures. I do the same thing in my mind. Since starting this TAY thing, when I go up in summer, I'm always looking at lines to come back and ski.

Surprisingly enough, I like to look at where I have skied when there the snow is gone. I think that it is because I've always enjoyed observing geographic features from different perspectives. Geography was a passion of mine long before I discovered TAY... it was even my major in university.

I'm pleased that you enjoyed the photos, Don.
