That is an absolutely horrific story and you broke every rule regarding skiing with your girl.
Please contact either me or RonJ for re-training before you proceed further!

I asked my wife to go skiing on Sunday and she said no way, the snow's no good, I'm not going. We go to a party a few hours later. RonJ comes up" Pam you coming skiing tomorrow" . She blushes, batts her eyelid and says " Sure, what time we meeting". I do a double take and say why?
Her answer," going with you is always a death march. No time to smell the roses or even talk. With RonJ it'll be fun, nice pace, mountain majeritas and Ron telling stories and jokes, now that's fun."

Seriously though, what's the demographics on gender regarding the 144 new registrations?

Is hiking 48 miles for 35 minutes of skiing considered a Deathmarch    ???

Its hard to go skinning when all you have is one Splitboard but I have a feeling next season I may have a new one or two laying around ;)

yeah, why is it that we "hike too fast and don't enjoy the scenery"? Although Beth is getting the hang of it...I took her up Kendall Stumps (snowshoeing), and she did alright on the board for her first time in the BC snowboarding. I let her navigate too...didn't give her the map and compass yet though... ;)

Perhaps worrying about access and land use should take the back burner to getting more women. Besides, they could probably do a better job at sweet talking rangers and park admin. I am gently nudging my girl into the BC. SHe digs it and everything, but likes it pretty mellow. I'd get her to join here, but I don't want her to find the topic about her boots.
