Where to land a plane in the Cascades?

Check out Dee Molenaar's "The Challenge of Rainier" for the story of Lt. Hodgkin's dead-stick takeoff from the summit dome and glide down to frozen Mowich Lake!  I think he was on some mad quest to land on all the Cascade volcanoes.   ???

There have been quite a few pilots over the years who have been unable to resist Grand Park, maybe they were old men & just had to pee?  

There is a 80's Columbian drug lord style airstrip just to the right of Crystal Mt boulevard as you are descending towards 410 I believe in the valley.
