Have you checked out the TRs? Many of the trips people are doing do not involve crevasses. Imitaion is the surest form of flattery - find a trip that looks good to you, and copy it.
Other than this site, check out the Burgdorfer book and of course skimountaineer.com.
Also try the search function, as some version of your question has been asked & answered at various times in the past.
P.S. - Muir snowfield, lower Heliotrope ridge, Artist Point are 3 decent options that come to mind. Many others of course.

I concur, those are probably your best three options.
Muir: Read the Pebble Creek thread. Most crowded, variable snow.
Heliotrope: Best snow of the three (as of a week ago). Expect a good 2 hour hike to get to the snowline, however.
Artist Point: Easiest to get to, least work for your turns. Horribly suncupped snow. You can easily park at the lower lot, walk the 3 mile road, and ski back to the car, rinse, and repeat.
Search TR's for all three (search Table Mountain for Artist Point TR's, or Paradise for Muir Snowfield). If you need directions to any of the three, just ask. Also watch the Partners Wanted, or pick a destination and post in partners wanted.
