Closest Skiing to Issaquah

What's the nearest skiing to the eastside around this time of year? Anything up to a ~2 hour drive.

Is Chinook Pass still doable?
I imagine Alpental's melted out?
Anything else?

Depends on how many turns you want to make... If you just need to make a few turns, I imagine that there are still skiable snow on upper international at Alpental and in Silver Peak's north basin. I think Silver Peak would be the least walking option, since you can probably drive to 4500ft at this point.

Chinook Pass still had real good coverage 2 weeks ago, almost all the way down to Cayuse. Silver Peak still looks to have lots of snow as already mentioned, but not sure how road 9070 is to get you there.

We just drove over Chinook pass on way back from Bumping lake . The Back bowl east of Naches peak has some skiing still available. Short short runs not to far from car. Also saw a thin line down to American river. A lot depends how thirsty you are! upper frying pan looked good but really hard to tell the smoothness from the car. A side note some really fine swimming/camping is to be had at Bumping river /Lake area.
