Does anybody know if it is absolutely necessary to have the N.W Forest Pass for trail-head parking, to go up on Baker-- C.D./Easton  approach? ;)

The road-end parking requires a Forest Pass. You can park for free down the road about 1/4 mile from the parking lot.
