Has anyone been into the Goat Rocks recently? I am considering a trip this weekend (July 4) and wondering what the snowpack and conditions are like. Thanks.

Regarding access: Skate Ck Rd (USFS #52) between Ashford and Packwood is still closed by flood damage.

I'm not real familiar with that area, but there was copious snow and what looked like some fabulous ski lines looking down toward Goat Rocks from Chinook...
