I have spoken to Charles and he has given me permission to post this request. As part of some graduate work I am looking at modeling some health promotion theories in avalanche risk/injury prevention. This part of it is a qualitative study examining some fairly basic information about experience, equipment, training and exposure to risk. I would like all ranges so if you are a lurker here just starting to ski/board in the backcountry sign up and give me a PM. All outliers welcome!! I am asking that anyone who wishes to participate give me a PM with your phone number and time that you might be able to spend ten min or so answering questions. I am able to make calls during the days as well as evenings. The only identifying information collected will be gender and age. Your PM’s with all personal information will be discarded at the end of the data collecting on July 30th. No personal information will be shared. This is an individual educational project for a Family Nurse Practitioner program here in Seattle. I would like to try to finish phone and data collection by July 24th. If interested give a PM.

Cordially

Just did the survey today... This is a very simple survey that takes less than 10 minutes of time... well worth the small amount of effort as it may yield information that comes back to help those of us in the backcountry skiing community in the PNW
