Hi all,
I am in the very early stages of planning a ski trip in Finland and/or Norway. If you have experience skiing there and feel like sharing info, please contact me! (ragiewich@hotmail.com) Thanks!

I would contact Martin Volken @ Pro Guiding/Pro Ski.  I think he just got back from Norway last week.

If I had the time I'd go on one of these boat/ski tours

Ive seen some slides and movies of these and it looks like a blast. Could be more operators than this one.

I just got back from a week long trip in Sweden on the border of Norway. I have also skied in Hemsedal, Norway and have been to quite a few other places including Lofoten which is the most unbelievable place I've ever seen. The ice climbing around Rjukan is top notch as well.

Where are you thinking of going? And When?

If its ski touring in Norway, I'd recommend going to the Tromso area and skiing the Lyngen Peninsula. Thats where they do the boat/ski tour trips and its supposed to be amazing.

Other than that there are plenty of other places to ski. It all depends on how far from Oslo you are willing to go and how you plan to get there. Driving in Norway is expensive and very slow going.

PM me if you need more info.
