Thanks to all for the nice complements-a great share goes to my ski partner Dale, he is as consistent as a metronome on a grand piano. Dale has won five years in a row, two for me, so the gunners in the competition were very fierce.
The competition supports the Crystal Mountain ski patrol, who does an excellent job of hosting the event.
It is fun and friendly, every competitor seems to come out with nice swag-keep an eye out for it next year and sign up.
I honestly thought the kids, not sure of their age, but not double digits were going to win the event. They sure won everyones hearts. May have to practice next year to get by them.
It was great to see familiar faces from the past-Alpentolics-Katie and Hilary, who nearly took us down with their awesome run! Though I ski a majority at Crystal, my heart is forever Alpentolic.
We drew an early run and watched many amazing skiers link those 8's. We felt fortunate that the outcome leaned our way.
