Consider posting for condo rental (or shares) on Craigslist (Vancouver, vacation rentals). We got a great deal over Christmas, slightly different circumstance because we wanted the whole unit for family, so paid $150/night for a 3BR, in the context of Christmas an amazing deal.
Pricing like that for whole unit would be decent especially shared across 4 or 5 of your best TAY friends, and peer-to-peer everything is negotiable.
