One of my ski buddies had a lot of fun renting demo skis at the demo shop at Crystal Mountain last year. He tried Ten Eighty Guns and Mantras in various lengths. And other skis. With a multi-week package deal it made for a cost effective rental.
Well... no surprise. The old Crystal Demo Shop isn't the same as last year. I don't know all the details, but something just sounds wrong. And there no multi-week package deals.
I know about Sturdevant's - Puyallup. Does anybody know what happened at Crystal? And are there any good comparative demo deals in the Tacoma area? Or rental opportunities for decent skis like Mantras.
We are going to be riding a fun bus up to the slopes, so we can't consider shops in Enumclaw or Greenwater. Thanks.
