I wish I were there to catch the program Lowell. I am sure it is superb.

How about following up JW's "international tour" comment with a presentation in Germany...or even a full tour? I could get you a venue in Trier, where I am now living...  Munich, Berlin...

Any chance of enticing you to come down south of the columbia? I think we could get a large crowd down here in P-town.

Hi Snodger,

Sure, I'm willing to do a program in Portland. Send a PM or e-mail if you want to pursue this. For several years I turned down requests to do presentations because I wanted to focus on my book project. But that project has stretched out so much that I decided not to put the rest of my life on hold.

I just got back from a family vacation in the Methow Valley. The presentation in Winthrop was well received and we brought in 150 people for this Methow Conservancy event.

Lowell -

Thanks again for taking the time out of your vacation to share your presentation with a standing room only crowed here in the Methow.

As you state, the show was very well received and I highly encourage all who can to attend one of the upcoming presentations.  The historical and inspirational video footage you have incorporated is absolutely fantastic.  Thanks for the time you put into sharing your adventures and the ski adventures of those before us with the greater community!

Hello all-

For those that live towards the north end, Lowell's presentation in Mount Vernon is fast approaching (Wednesday, February 6th, 7:30 pm). Here are some details:

The presentation will be in Ford Hall (Room 101), at Skagit Valley College ( www.skagit.edu/images/color_mvCampus.pdf ). The club will have a business meeting before the presentation (7:00-7:30); all are welcome to attend and admission is free.

As folks have alluded to above, this is going to be a fantastic presentation. Don't miss it!

Cheers, Jason Griffith
