Happy Hollidays and a Happy New Year was created by cochise
You can free your heel and free your mind, or you can lock it down like some friends of mine.
You can ride like a surfer and then split it in two, we are off to the backcountry to earn a turn or two.
For some they are tools to obtain a mountain top, for others just toys where the fun never stops.
Some trips are filled with blower, sweet pow kissing your face, then a nasty crust robs you of grace.
Sweet corn ready for harvest each and every spring, you can even ski naked if that’s your type of thing.
Some ski the un-skiable and others shred the chutes, some take it easy in lace up leather boots.
Our playground has such beauty you really can’t describe, the feeling so intense, never so alive.
Behind the beauty lurks danger the layers tell a tale, this is not mystery, nor a children’s fairytale.
Why take the risk? Most will never understand, the answer is different for each and every man.
Spirituality, Friendship, adventure, just to name a few, why do you backcountry? What’s it mean to you?
No matter where you adventure, no matter your type of gear, happy holidays to all and safe new year.
Peace all, cochise.

Nicely put. That sums it all up in a perfect prose. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

In the Northwest BC there are layers to fear,
So stay under the tree and hope for new gear!
