Seeking to interview bc boarders and skiers

Hey, I'm looking to get a hold of folks who hit the bc regularly--I'm a freelance writer (and longtime skier/newbie boarder) working on an article for a local publication on backcountry snowboarding. It won't something sensational about the folks who've died recently, but rather a piece that actually delves into why people are drawn to the backcountry in the first place, the risks/rewards inherent, resources for learning more or getting certified, etc. You know, the stuff most of the major papers never even touch on. I want to shine a light on this aspect of boarding/skiing that the average Joe never gets a chance to hear about. That means: if you like riding backcountry, I'm not going to paint you as some sort of "insane extreme" thrillseeker (unless you are, of course, ha).
