Mid-week ski bus options for older skier was created by jdclimber
I am looking for a mid-week ski bus/ski club for a gift for my 70 year old skiing mother. I have seen folks in the areas mid week and the buses they rode up in, but could find any info on the internet. Also have heard rumors of coffee served in the mornings and wine on the ride home. That sounds good to me.
Also, leaving from Seattle proper would be ideal, but not essential.
Anyone know of these operation?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My Dad runs a ski bus up to Stevens on Wensdays. They leave from Bellevue. I'll PM you with his contact information.

There used to be a ski lesson /bus program called Ski Masters. I would see their buses at Stevens and Crystal. Try a Google or call a ski shop. You're a good son.

I do a midweek ski bus out of the Tacoma area. Lots of older skiers. If it was January, I would say to talk to the folks getting off the busses.
However.... a better plan. They generally sell lift tickets on the bus at a group discount rate. So, the ski areas are in touch with these folks re: picking up the lift tickets and arranging for parking. Should be able to call the marketing dept. of the ski area you are interested in and get some help. Get the name and phone numbers of some "bus moms".
The busses can have different personalities. Some folks are real quiet... My bus is wild and raunchy in the back, more civilized in the front.... (what happens on the bus - Stays on the bus).
