How are the skins holding up, have you had any time in the freshie? I was surprised yesterday when I found about a 6" wad of snow under my Kyber skins, used twice from new.

They are holding up pretty well. The first trip out after I reglued them, the skins actually pulled a little bit of wax off of my board. So I had to use the paper bag and hot iron to melt it off the skins. Not sure if it was due to over sticky skins or too much wax on the board. Has anyone else had this problem after reglueing their skins?

Wax pulling off the board onto the skins is definitely a "too much wax on the board" issue.
The general reccommended hot waxing procedure is to either crayon or melt-drip wax onto the board, melt the wax into the P-Tex using single slow pass with the iron (hard to do with a snowboard unless you have a giant iron), let cool and then scrape to remove all wax than isn't embedded in the structure of the P-Tex. A nice final touch is to polish with a nylon brush.
Anyway -- bottom line if there is any wax on your board that you could scrape off -- then there is too much wax.

Boy, I was glad to see this post. My skins are okay...well really they suck but they're mine and I'm sticking with em even if they aint stickin with me--bca lo fat's, don't bother. My question, I get the most snow under the part near the tips where I have overlapped the pelt. Is there any reason why the overlap has to be 6, 8 inches? couldn't it just be two? I can't really move the over lap, but I could cut it down. Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear about the BCAs, but now I know.
The overlap can be shorter, 4"?, although you should make sure the glue is extra solid. The shorter the ovelap the less you can adjust the length, esp. with their fixed-tail attachment.
Tapering the front part of the skin helps too, I've heard; been meaning to get around to it with my G3s. Oh yeah---G3s with Gold label are fantastic. I try to emulate Joedabaker's ways of keeping the glue pristine.

Thanks. you only get one crack at cutting the skins, but I don't see why I can't just cut down the overlap without changeing anything substantial.
